Every trek we conduct is perfect for star gazing but on this departure we will be taking advantage of the darkened skies of the new moon phase for a more comprehensive look at the southern stars.

The daily routine is identical to our regular Simpson Desert Explorer Trek but if you are interested in astronomy or wish to learn, then our resident astronomer will have his telescope at the ready in addition to digital and paper star charts and other astronomical information.
